DR KARIM KHAN

Dr Karim Khan completed his Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Punjab in 1989. He obtained his Australian Medical Council (AMC) Certificate in 2002.
Dr Khan provides comprehensive general medical care to patients of all ages. He has profound experience in all areas of general practice and holds a fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) as well.
Dr Karim Khan is a multilingual doctor and speaks Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu in addition to English.
Dr Khan has special interest in the management of Diabetes, chronic diseases, adolescent and children and mental health.

 

DR SHIRLEY CLARK

Shirley trained at The University of Cape Town in South Africa.

She has been living and working in Australia since 2008 and is interested in all aspects of General Practice including:

Women’s Health- insert Mirena’s, Kyleena’s, Copper T’s and Implanons

Paediatrics

Chronic Disease Management

Dermoscopy Skin Checks and minor excisions.

Integrative Health

DR MICHELE BROOKE-DAVEY

Michele studied Science at Flinders University of South Australia in 1978 and went on to study medicine at Flinders University of South Australia, including overseas studies in France graduating in 1986.

After post-graduate training at Flinders Medical Centre, she started in General Practice in 1990.

In addition to comprehensive general practice care, Michele has special interests in women’s health, chronic disease management, preventative health and screening programs, patient education and counselling.

She has post-graduate training in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and paediatrics, including neo-natal care.

Michele has been involved in the teaching of medical students and awarded status by the School of Medicine at Flinders University of South Australia.

Michele has completed training in muscle relaxant aesthetic medical treatment and this treatment is available at the Happy Valley Clinic.

Michele also works part-time as a Breast Clinician at the Burnside Breast and Endocrine Centre and as specialist GP in Women’s health at Wellend Health hormone support and high-risk breast cancer clinic in North Adelaide.

Outside of work Michele enjoys spending time with family, reading non-fiction, staying fit and active and enjoys traveling.

Michele is available: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday.

RUTH CURTIS

Registered Nurse

Ruth joined our practice in March 2021. She has worked in General Practices and hospitals, including a plastic surgery clinic in and around Adelaide  since graduating from Adelaide University. Ruth has a special interest in wound management and chronic disease management.

Ruth is a mum of four and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

HOURS:  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Kathleen Wigney

Practice Manager

If you have an issue or even a compliment, please refer to our Practice Manager. Kathleen was one our receptionist for many years and moved into the management role in 2019.

Kathleen is always happy to answer any issues or concerns and enjoys relaying compliments to her staff.
